History

Craft passed down through families

Darra Adam Khel lies on the road between Peshawar and Kohat. Its workshops built a reputation for hand-made firearms, and the skills of gunsmithing — filing, fitting, finishing and test-firing — have passed from one generation to the next.

Today the town is home to small workshops and arms dealers side by side. Locally made pistols, especially TT-pattern .30 bore models, sit alongside imported handguns and rifles.

Local or imported?

What to know when choosing

  1. Locally made

Usually more affordable. Quality varies from maker to maker, which is why handling the firearm and checking its finish and function matters.

  2. Imported

Factory-made models from established brands, typically at higher prices, with consistent parts and finish.

  3. Calibre

.30 bore (7.62×25 mm) and 9mm are the most common handgun calibres. Check which your licence covers.

  4. Ask us

Tell us your budget and what the firearm is for, and we will suggest options from our stock.
